Technology-Driven
Students are empowered to use industry-grade, sophisticated tools and software to
solve the problems that they identify in their community.

Collaborative Learning
Students work with their peers and community members to become positive agents of change.
EAST Night Out
During EAST Night Out, the power of student driven, service based, technology-driven, collaborative learning is
shared with families, community members, and school personnel. Each spring, all JTE EAST students
showcase their projects and share their EAST stories during JTE's EAST Night Out.
EAST Conference
Each spring, more than 2,500 students, teachers, parents, and community and business leaders attend the national EAST Conference.
This multi-day event celebrates EAST students and the amazing work that they do. The event also provides EAST students with
opportunities to network with other students, share the story of their EAST program, and showcase projects that make a difference in their
communities. JTE EAST students apply for a spot on the EAST Conference team.
