On-site Instruction Resumes Monday December 7, 2020

Tomorrow, Wednesday, at 8:00am and 2:30pm our specialty teachers (Art, PE, Music, and Library) will be Zooming with students. Students will need to choose one of the zooms they would like to attend. They are welcome to attend a morning and afternoon session if they would like. IMPORTANT for parents of all students to read! Here is a Zoom schedule for the upcoming Remote Learning Week November 30th - December 4th. All students are required to log into one of the two Zoom times offered for their grade level. In addition to the daily Zoom with their class, their teacher will be posting lessons and activities for all core subject areas in Seesaw for K-2nd and Google Classroom for 3rd-5th. If your child was absent on the Thursday or Friday before Thanksgiving break, and your child did not take their technology device home, you can pick it up in our office Monday morning. Any day a student does not complete their work for the day, it is counted as an absence, so it is very important for an adult to be monitoring and facilitating each students work at home. If your child is struggling with something, reach out to the classroom teacher between 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Teachers will be monitoring their email as well as their Seesaw or Google Classroom to support students. Teachers will also be scheduling virtual and in person small groups throughout the week, so be sure to watch for communication from your child's teacher on this as well as the Zoom links. Good news! Bus 142 will run this afternoon. Students will be able to ride Bus 142 home from school today. If your child rides Bus 142, but you would like for your student to be a car rider this afternoon, please notify the office at (479) 750-8862 before 2:30 today. ¡Buenas noticias! We are short on bus drivers today. Bus 142 WILL NOT be picking students up this morning. If your child rides bus 142 to school, please arrange another way to get them to school today. Veteran’s Day 2020 Help us celebrate Veteran’s Day on Friday, November 13th with a special TNT! We would like to honor our students’ military service members with a slide show. Please send in or email uniformed pictures of your student’s mother, father, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles or grandparents who served in the U. S. Military to Mrs. Dudley (jdudley@sdale.org) by Friday, November 6th . If you have sent pictures of your military family members in previous years, thank you! We still have copies of their pictures.

FINAL WILD DOG RACE After speaking with the SHS, HBHS and other coaches & PE teachers in the district....we have decided to POSTPONE the final day of races until FRIDAY, 10/30 still at Sonora Middle School and still starting at 3:45 pm with the 7th grade boys race.
