All Bus 191 students will need to be picked up from school today, as well as picked up and dropped off for the rest of this week. Please see our car rider arrival and dismissal procedures. Today, we will be giving a new car tag to help expedite the dismissal process. Please keep the car rider tag displayed until your child(ren) load your vehicle. Thank you for your patience as we make changes to be sure the car rider line runs smoothly.

Monday, August 16th is the first day of school! Students will be able to enter the building beginning at 7:15 AM. School begins at 7:45 AM. Masks are required. Water bottles will be provided for all students. For safety, we are limiting adult visitors inside the building. We can't wait to see our Tigers!

Join us for our outdoor Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, August 12th. Last names A-L can come from 4:30 to 5:30, and last names M-Z can come from 5:30-6:30. We will be set up outside around the school (see the map below for grade level locations). Masks are encouraged, but not required. PTA will be giving away free ice cream so please pick some up before you leave. We are looking forward to having an awesome year!

Kindergarten through fifth grade students can come meet their teacher, join PTA, pay supply fees, and ask any questions you may have. Students with last names A-L will drop in between 4:30 and 5:30. Students with last names M-Z will drop in between 5:30 and 6:30.

Tomorrow, May 27th, is the last day of school and Field Day! Students need to bring a towel, water bottle, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. Attention Parents/Guardians of Upcoming John Tyson Elementary Kindergarteners: John Tyson Elementary will be hosting a drop-in Kindergarten Readiness Screening on May 24th between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Please see the flyers below for additional information. We are looking forward to meeting our new Tigers on Monday.

Due to the weather forecast, we have moved our kindergarten and 5th grade celebration indoors. Masks are required at all times. We are looking forward to celebrating our students!
